Kris was followed by Stephanie (so intrigued by what she was saying did not get last name, sorry) who gave a bullet point outline of the do’s and don’ts for success with your post.

She was very precise, communicated in a way that anyone could understand, was blunt and to the point. In other words she did not hold anything back.

The closer was Tracey Walker and if you don’t know Tracey you should.

Tracey talked on the topic of SEO, tags and keywords for getting your blog ranked. This is a subject that many dread because they are not tech savvy and believe it will take months or weeks to learn and perform.

Tracy Walker laid this out in less than an hour, in a way that a fifth grader could understand and take action. I know what your saying, am I smarter than a fifth grader, the answer is yes.

To tell you the truth I don’t know what YOU do, but I can tell you what I did.

We were living at a time when life was good the economy was thriving and it seemed that money grew on trees and then the bottom fell out. Since that time, my world collapsed as has that of many of my real estate friends and business associates.

Many of them have quit the real estate industry and fallen into dead end jobs that they hate. Maybe that is where you are, for me it was very difficult to go to work in corporate america after being self employed for 25 years, but you do what you gotta do.

Many have tried and failed to find ways to make money online. Many have turned to energy companies, health products, gold-silver, travel and the list goes on and on.

For most, they spent more money then they’ve earned and suffered a great deal of frustration along the way, as did I. In three years I earned  almost $10,000. If you break that down to a monthly income that is whopping $277.00 a monthor $64.15 a week. That is not working an hour a day, but many waking hours 7 days a week. That was gross profit before taking into consideration that I spent almost $14,000 to get the training, skills, services and products needed to  make that money….so the reality is I was paying $166.00 a month to be in a business that was not profitable.

I know that sounds crazy, I am not the smartest guy on the internet, but I am coachable and I can follow directions. So if you tell me this is what you did to make six figures a year online, I can do the same thing. The frustration is, you do what others are doing and you do not get the results. After a while, you start to believe it is you, because it seems to work for other people.

They tell you “it’s ok, just fake it till you make it” . If you are like me, an honest person, you’re not going to go out and tell people you are making $10,000 a month, if your not. Based on what I have experienced on the internet many people are doing exactly that.

What I am trying to say is, it is not you or me. Up until now it has been an industry set up to reward a few people tremendously and share pennies with the masses. Here are the problems with creating the momentum that you will need to make $10,000 a month.

1. You need to put up money to make money

2. You make a very small portion of each sale, so the amount of sales you need to make is astronomical.

3. It takes 60-90 days to get the little bit of income you have earned, so you have no profits to put back into marketing.

4. Even if you do have money for marketing, if you are in a competitive market, the competion has more money and more skill.

5. It takes forever to set up a system, blog and all the things you need to generate and convert traffic to sales.

I can only speak for myself, I am solution oriented and I don’t give up. After evaluating the above list for why it has not worked, I searched for the closest thing I could find to eliminate problems 1 to 4. What I found was, it did not exist, until now that is. It is different from anything that has ever existed online. I know you’ve heard that before, so I will just give you the reasons that it was the solution for me personally.

Beer Is Good & People Are Crazy Not Starting A Work From Home Business

Country singer Billy Currington was the inspiration for this peice with his song “People Are Crazy” I don’t want to start a work from home business; I would rather commute long hours, miss family events and make someone else rich, is that crazy? Why is that the norm and not the exception? 

Top of the list responses would be security and being afraid to make changes in life (also know as the fear of the unknown).

Who is really secure today, whether in corporate america, the real estate or mortgage industry, or struggling with your own brick and mortar business.Can we really feel secure in these current times or do we just make ourselves beleive it is so for peace of mind.

What do we do, make a decision to transform now, before it is too overdue or delay and say “what if”. A great book entitled “Who Moved My Cheese” by Spencer Johnson, MD describes this scenerio best . The craziest time in any ones life is when they are out of control and forced into change. We see in the news and read in the paper daily of the out of their mind things that some people due when faced with this kind of pressure.

The logical thing to do would be to create additional value in yourself now by gaining knowledge and new skills. The most successful home business entrepeneurs are rarely focused on money, it is usually something much more personal like family.

Understand that a work from home opportunity is a business and should not be entered into lightly. No matter what you read or hear on the internet a work from home business is a job. I hate to call it that because it is so much fun when you conquer it. Working from home has allowed me to accomplish my main goal of having more time with my wife, family and friends. It is work, but there is no comparison to anything you have ever done.


Think of it this way, you need to become a work from home professional. Less than 10% of those that dive into the work from home business actually earn a profit, those 10% are the professionals. Experts at their skill, proficient in their time management and above all a winning mindset. In the year 2009 and beyond, that equates to internet marketing mastery. Just like doctors, lawyers, electricians and plumbers, who also go  through mentoring, apprenticeship or internships for years. Has there ever been a better time? Not really, so knowing all that needs to be done are you ready to begin your work from home business journey?.

If you are independently wealthy or if as the aforementioned song goes “he was a millionaire,he left his fortune to some guy he barely knew” (you), then there is not much value in this article.  If thats not you and you need to work, why not work for yourself and work from home.

Do I have any regrets, yes. I am not different from most, I waited until I was forced to seek change. Not the brightest guy in the world, but smart enough to not make the same mistake twice and give others some basic advice.

Michael Vick Makes 1.6 M with the Eagles Can You Make Money From Home Start an Internet Business From Home

All of the talk recently is about whether Michael Vick should be able to play professional football  because he committed a terrible crime, made a huge mistake in his life. I want to start this article by saying that I love dogs and was horrified by the pictures from the crime committed at Michael Vick’s residence. As an imperfect human being, I also believe in forgiveness, especially for a man that pleaded guilty, took responsibility for his actions and paid the price that society has placed on his crime and continues to pay daily. He threw away 60 million in endorsements, paid a million to support the animals harmed and lost millions in salary. When all is said and done there is no amount of money that is ever going to get his life back. No matter how great of a football player he is or becomes, he will always be known as the man that committed a terrible crime.

What will you be known as? Are you creating a legacy and if so, good or bad?  As I talk to people out and about and on the internet social networking sites, I hear from people that don’t have jobs or are losing their house and it seems that they are more concerned with what Michael Vick is doing then where there family is going to live and how they are going to survive. I feel like they should be asking, ” who is giving me and my family a standing ovation”, but there not because focusing on other peoples problems, makes our own seem not so bad.


As a baby boomer with a dead retirement plan and lost career income, I understand. Take it from me, it does not have to be that way. The internet has given many with no hope of retiring with dignity, the ability to not only retire but live now and live a better life. You can make money by learning how to start an internet business from home. Granted it is not easy finding the right online business opportunity with all of the hype and scams out there. Is it worth the time it takes to find the right one? The question is, what are your alternatives? For me there was none, so it did not matter how long it took, I was going to start an internet business from home, because it was my line in the sand. There was no turning back, no other choices. What about you? 

If you are where I was, what do you have to lose. Like Michael Vick, you may want to have the past back so you can change it, not going to happen. We are responsible for where we have been, where we are and where we are going. The present and future are blessings that will be lost unless you seize them. 

If you decide you want to learn how to start an internet business from home, a little advice. First there are no guarantees in life or top online businesses, so if someone offers you one, think twice. Second make sure that it is one of the top online business opportunities with great training and support. Last but not least, whether it is an internet business or not, find something you feel good about and can love doing.  Change is not easy, so if you are going to go through it, make it worth it.

We all have the ability to change for the better, the key is to begin now and never quit.
