To tell you the truth I don’t know what YOU do, but I can tell you what I did.

We were living at a time when life was good the economy was thriving and it seemed that money grew on trees and then the bottom fell out. Since that time, my world collapsed as has that of many of my real estate friends and business associates.

Many of them have quit the real estate industry and fallen into dead end jobs that they hate. Maybe that is where you are, for me it was very difficult to go to work in corporate america after being self employed for 25 years, but you do what you gotta do.

Many have tried and failed to find ways to make money online. Many have turned to energy companies, health products, gold-silver, travel and the list goes on and on.

For most, they spent more money then they’ve earned and suffered a great deal of frustration along the way, as did I. In three years I earned  almost $10,000. If you break that down to a monthly income that is whopping $277.00 a monthor $64.15 a week. That is not working an hour a day, but many waking hours 7 days a week. That was gross profit before taking into consideration that I spent almost $14,000 to get the training, skills, services and products needed to  make that money….so the reality is I was paying $166.00 a month to be in a business that was not profitable.

I know that sounds crazy, I am not the smartest guy on the internet, but I am coachable and I can follow directions. So if you tell me this is what you did to make six figures a year online, I can do the same thing. The frustration is, you do what others are doing and you do not get the results. After a while, you start to believe it is you, because it seems to work for other people.

They tell you “it’s ok, just fake it till you make it” . If you are like me, an honest person, you’re not going to go out and tell people you are making $10,000 a month, if your not. Based on what I have experienced on the internet many people are doing exactly that.

What I am trying to say is, it is not you or me. Up until now it has been an industry set up to reward a few people tremendously and share pennies with the masses. Here are the problems with creating the momentum that you will need to make $10,000 a month.

1. You need to put up money to make money

2. You make a very small portion of each sale, so the amount of sales you need to make is astronomical.

3. It takes 60-90 days to get the little bit of income you have earned, so you have no profits to put back into marketing.

4. Even if you do have money for marketing, if you are in a competitive market, the competion has more money and more skill.

5. It takes forever to set up a system, blog and all the things you need to generate and convert traffic to sales.

I can only speak for myself, I am solution oriented and I don’t give up. After evaluating the above list for why it has not worked, I searched for the closest thing I could find to eliminate problems 1 to 4. What I found was, it did not exist, until now that is. It is different from anything that has ever existed online. I know you’ve heard that before, so I will just give you the reasons that it was the solution for me personally.

As of this first day of December 2011 Empower Network is all the buzz in the industry.

Over 9000 members in only 3 weeks, over $900,000 in commissions paid out to members in that same period of time.

I am not sure if that has ever been done before, but if it has, I am not aware of it.

 

So let’s take a look at the good and the bad of the Empower Network founded by David Wood and Dave Sharp.

So what is the Empower Network, what are they selling and why are so many people buying it?

The best way to describe what is being sold is Empowerment, WHAT? I know what you are thinking, how do you bottle empowerment and sell it.

The purpose of this network is to empower the people who are in the trenches of the internet marketing industry.

How does that work, let me explain. Up until now in the network marketing industry if you went to work with a company and you have success selling their product or service, the money would go to the company and then be filtered down to you in smaller portions, depending on where you are in the food chain.

In the Empower Network when you sell a service, subscription or product, when the customer pushes add to cart and authorizes the sale, the money, 100% of it goes directly into your bank account.

If there is residual income derived from that such as subscriptions, 100% of that goes into your account as well each month it is renewed. In other words everyone is on equal footing. There are some members that have earned more income in a day than the founders themselves.

OK, back to the review. The single most amazing fact that I have found from those I have heard from to reference this article, are the number of people that have been in mlm network marketing for years without ever having any success and are now stepping out. Some making their first $25 ever, some $100 and some their first 4 figure earnings. They are obviously raving fans of the Empower Network.

Before I get into exactly what they are doing, let’s talk about the bad.

The Empower Network is growing at a pace that not even the founders could have envisioned. With growing pains come problems, the servers have crashed two times taking the network down for a short period of time.

Some people might say that is a good thing, but when you are bringing in 400 to 500 new people a day, any down time is bad.

What Will It Take For YOU
To Do Something, Anything?

You have been searching the internet for weeks, months and in some cases years, but there is nothing that seems right.

You find a way to rule out every opportunity for one reason or another. It is a scam, it cost too much, I do not have enough experience to do that or it is too good to be true.

So the question is, what will it take for you to do something, anything?

It is alright, I understand, but unlike you I am the opposite of a procrastinator, I jumped into opportunities like each one was the one. In many cases I kind of wish that I was you, I would have saved a lot of time, money, failures and headaches.

I am not telling you this so that you will feel sorry for me. I am an eternal optimist, full of faith and a beleiver in the secret. There was never a moment through it all that I did not think I would not land on my feet, because I knew I would never give up, no matter how long it takes.

I owe that persistence and determination to the U.S. Marine Corp and I am grateful for it.

Enough about me, lets get back to you and the question.

The positive side of what I have done over the past three years are first, the experience gained. I may be foolish but I am not a total moron,

I learn from my mistakes and I don’t make the same mistake twice.

Second, I have seen enough bad business models that I can now recognize what will work and what will not.

Third, the realization that very few people are really getting wealthy or even earning a good living in very many online opportunities and even if they are it does not last.

Fourth, it takes too long for most people to make money online fast enough to keep them solvent and or motivated for the commitment to last.

So have my years of trial and error finally come to an end? I will let you answer that question for yourself after I explain where my journey has taken me.

Any small or local business owner is affected by the down economy or as some call it the new economy.

Also the way that people watch tv, with a dvr or on demand commercial free and listen to radio, Sirius or XM commercial free. Not even to mention what the ipod has done to the way we access information.

So is this all bad, absolutely not, it is an amazing opportunity or those who learn how to take advantage of new consumer habits.
